This page explains what cookies and similar tracking technologies (pixels and similar tools) Merchant Tech uses, and why.
If you're visiting from the European Union or United Kingdom, we show a cookie banner and only set non-essential cookies after you click "Accept." If you're visiting from elsewhere, non-essential cookies are enabled by default and the banner isn't shown. Either way, you can change your choice at any time using the "Cookie Preferences" link in the footer of any page. Your browser's own cookie settings, described below, give you extra control, but they don't replace this mechanism as what governs consent here.
How We Use Cookies
We divide the cookies and tracking technologies we use into the following categories:
Strictly Necessary
These remember your cookie choice itself and support basic site security. They don't require consent and can't be turned off through the banner.
Analytics
We use Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics (GA4), and Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use our site. If you're visiting from the EU/UK, these are only set if you accept them in the cookie banner; otherwise they're enabled by default, as described above.
Advertising
We use Meta Pixel, Simplifi, Customers.ai, and Google's Conversion Linker for ad measurement and retargeting. If you're visiting from the EU/UK, we withhold your consent signal from these tools unless you accept them in the cookie banner; otherwise they're enabled by default, as described above.
Functional (Scheduling)
Our Book a Demo page uses Calendly to schedule meetings. If you're visiting from the EU/UK, Calendly only loads once you accept our cookie banner (or, per the section above, once we've confirmed you're outside the EU/UK); otherwise it loads by default.

- Browser Controls: most browsers accept cookies by default, but you can set your browser to remove or reject them. This may negatively impact your experience and cause some features to work incorrectly, and does not by itself stop all third-party data sharing described above.

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time, including to reflect changes to the cookies and tools we use. We will post the revised policy on this page and update the effective date above.
